ทำไมต้องมียางลบบนหัวดินสอ

บางครั้งเราก็มองข้ามสิ่งเล็กๆ น้อยๆ ไป

เพียงเพราะใช้เวลาสั้นๆ ในการตัดสินสิ่งนั้นว่า " ไร้สาระ"

หลายวันก่อน เพื่อนคนหนึ่งถามผมว่า "ทำไมต้องมียางลบอยู่บนหัวดินสอ ? "

ผมไม่ได้สนใจและใส่ใจกับคำถามนั้นสักเท่าไหร่

เพียงแค่รู้สึกว่าเป็นคำถามที่ไม่มีสาระอะไรเสียเลย

แต่ก็อดไม่ได้ที่จะตอบเล่นๆ ไปว่า "ก็คงมีเพื่อความสะดวกมั้ง

หรือไม่ก็ช่วยให้คนขี้ลืมที่ชอบวางยางลบไม่เป็นที่เป็นทาง

ได้มียางลบ ใช้มั้ง"

เพื่อนของผมก็อมยิ้ม ก่อนที่จะตอบผม สั้นๆ ว่า "ไม่ใช่"

"อ้าว. . .งั้นเพราะอะไรล่ะ" ผมอดที่จะถามไม่ได้

ก็เพราะว่า " คนเราสามารถทำผิดกันได้ "

". . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . " ฉันนิ่งไปครู่หนึ่ง

หลังจากที่ได้ยินคำตอบ

และปล่อยให้เจ้าของคำถามเดินจากไป

โดยที่ไม่ได้อธิบายอะไรมากไปกว่าคำตอบสั้นๆ ของเขาเท่านั้น

คำถามของเพื่อนที่ผมเคยมองว่ามันไร้สาระ

กลับทำให้ผม ได้เก็บมาคิดแทบทุกขณะที่สมองว่าง

เย็นวันนั้น ผมจึงหยิบโทรศัพท์เขียนข้อความส่งถึงเพื่อนๆ ด้วยประโยคที่ซ้ำกัน. . .

" ทำไมต้องมียางลบอยู่บนหัวดินสอ

........................................................

เพราะคนเรามีสิทธิ์ทำผิดกันได้

........................................................

แต่จงจำไว้ว่า. . .เราไม่ควรใช้ยางลบให้หมดก่อนดินสอ

เพราะนั่นอาจหมายความว่า เรากำลังทำผิดซ้ำๆ จนความผิดนั้นอาจสายเกินแก้"

ผมเองยังไม่รู้เหมือนกันว่าสิ่งที่คิดต่อจากเพื่อนนั้นมันจะถูกต้องหรือไม่

และเพื่อนๆ ที่ได้รับข้อความจากผมจะเข้าใจในสิ่งที่ผมต้องการจะบอกหรือเปล่า

จะเข้าใจหรือไม่เข้าใจ. . .นั่นไม่ใช่สิ่งที่ผมต้องการมากสักเท่าไหร่

แต่สิ่งที่ผมอยากได้รับ คือ เพื่อนของผมจะคิดต่อจากความคิดของผมอย่างไร

และลึกๆ ผมก็แค่หวังว่า เพื่อนของผมคงจะกล้าเผชิญหน้ากับความผิดพลาด

และไม่ประมาทในการใช้ชีวิตและยอมรับการกระทำของตัวเอง. . .

เพียงแค่นั้น ผมก็หมดห่วง

และเพื่อน ๆ ที่ได้อ่านแล้วคิดอย่างไรกันบ้างครับว่า “ ทำไมต้องมียางลบอยู่บนหัวดินสอ ”
